Thanks for your interest in my fused dichroic cabochons, lampworked beads and glue-on bails, both Sterling Silver and Gold Filled, all handcrafted by me!
At shows, people often ask me: " What is dichroic glass?"
Wikipedia explains:

"The brilliant dichroic optical properties of dichroic glass are the result of multiple micro-layers of metal oxides. These thin layers of oxides have a total thickness of three to five millionths of an inch.
NASA developed dichroic glass for use in face shields in space suits. Multiple ultra-thin layers of different metals (gold, silver, titanium, chromium, aluminium, zirconium, magnesium, silicon) are applied to the surface of the glass. The glass is then kiln fired at extreme temperatures in a vacuum.
The resulting plate of dichroic glass can then be fused with other glass in multiple firings. Certain wavelengths of light will either pass through or be reflected, causing an array of colour to be visible. Due to variations in the firing process, individual results can never be exactly reproduced; each piece of fused dichroic glass is unique and no two pieces are ever the same."

My pendants and cabochons consist of 2 to 4 layers of dichroic and art glass, cut into the desired shape and fused in a  kiln until the desired point of fusion is reached, then cooled slowly in the kiln to give them durability and strength. Many pieces are fired and annealed a second or even a third time after grinding them into their final shape.

It can be difficult to capture the full color range and sparkle of a piece in a scanned image, and I am confident that you will find my jewelry much nicer in person than the pictures suggest.
Should you, however, not be happy in any way with your purchase, please return it within 14 days for a full refund.

Cabochons
are perfect for wire wrapping, or attaching a pinback or earring posts to create your own unique jewelry. Most cabs can be outfitted with a groove to accommodate a single-wire ( up to 16 gauge ) wrap. Please add $ 1.00 per cab for this service.
If you need calibrated cabochons for settings, please contact me.

For my customers who prefer a different look, I also use Sterling Silver and Gold Filled glue-on bails, so I can offer very affordable pendants. You might want to create your own, using my cabochons and  Bails.

From fusing dichroic glass to lampworking dichroic beads was a natural progression for me. I started with "soft" glass ( Bullseye ) beads with lots of dichroic made on a hothead torch, and soon moved up to a bigger torch to make borosilicate beads, also.
Unless otherwise noted, they have been made on a 3/32 mandrel so the bead hole is a generous 2.5mm, big enough to just string one of these sparklers on a black satin cord with a knot at each side to secure, for a WOW! choker.
The small beads, maybe combined with seed beads, would be perfect for so many projects like zipper pulls, beaded bookmarks, cell phone lariats and so many more.

Please take time to visit the Gallery Page to view jewelry and other items created by me and  various artist friends and customers using my dichroic glass. While you won't be able to purchase any of these from my website, I am providing links so you can contact the artist directly to find out about availability and pricing.

Some of my glass creations are now available on Etsy, please click here to see what I am offering there. Of course I will gladly combine your Etsy order with any items you might want from this website to help you save on shipping.

I am offering free ( First Class Mail ) shipping for all orders over $ 75.00. Please see the Order Information section for more information and for volume discounts I offer.

If you're in the Houston TX area, I would love to visit with you in person at one of the shows that I'm doing, please see the Upcoming Shows page for details.
